Editing includes:

  • Correcting spelling, punctuation, syntax, and typographical errors
  • Checking for consistent use of capitalization, abbreviations, hyphenations, and word usage
  • Reworking awkward phrases to ensure flow
  • Substantive changes to the text to guarantee clarity, comprehension, continuity, and flow
  • Checking that writing style is consistent
  • Rephrasing and revising sentences to ensure that ideas are expressed clearly

Editing fees:

Regular time frame (between 7-21 working days depending on length and availability)
$18 per page (250 words)

Expedited time frame (up to 7 working days depending on length and availability)
$21 per page (250 words)

All edits are clearly marked in the document for you to accept or reject.

Editing that requires re-writing, checking information, etc., will be billed at an hourly rate of $50.

Minimum charge for editing is $35.

Design fees:

Design services are billed either at an agreed upon project rate or at my hourly rate of $45.
